Hida Furukawa Matsuri Kaikan is all about festival! The gallery displays flamboyant, portable shrines with three, floats (yatai) that were paraded though the streets during the Furukawa Matsuri. A 3-D video gives visitors a sense of the Furukawa Festival. One can also enjoy a performance of Japanese puppets (karakuri) and a demonstration of traditional arts and crafts.
