Sobadokoro Sugo is a new soba restaurant in Hida city.
Sobadokoro means soba place and sugo comes from the name of the area.
This restaurant is run by local people and they produce buchwheat flour themselves in Sugo.It's all handmade.
You'll find real taste and texture of soba.
Our reccommended menu at Sobadokoro Sugo is Zaru Special.
Zaru Special includes Zaru Soba(cold soba with a dipping sauce), Takikomi Gohan(Japanese Paella), Soba Pudding and Tsukemono(Japanese Pickles).
Soba Pudding is the original menu of Sobadokoro Sugo.It's a new sweet of natural sweetness and fresh soba taste.
Additionally we'd like to mention about seasonal menu.
In spring, they serve Sansai Soba. It's hot soba topped with sansai, or wild vegetables such as warabi, zenmai and takenoko(bamboo shoot).
In fall, you can have Kinoko(mashroom) soba. All of these toppings are natural and from mountain in sugo. You can't get those foods anywhere else.
And also, people produce Wasabi for seasoning in Sugo, so you can try real wasabi there.
